I probably have an unhealthy amount of black in my closet so putting together an all-black outfit was not even close to difficult. I'm working on adding color I really am, but my definition of color includes nude, blush, navy and white (that counts right?) In my opinion these kind of outfits are so chic and simple to put together BUT it can go wrong pretty easily. I say this is because it is so hard to find two blacks that are the same. Sounds stupid right? But it can make or break you your all black 'fit. If your black jeans have been washed so many times that they are starting to look grayish and you're wearing a brand new never washed black sweater the blacks are going to be different in shade so make sure that they either end up complimenting each other or are pretty close if not exactly the same shade.

Let's be real here. I'm a college student and I'm ballin' on a budget. We all are. I don't know about you but I'm not really trying to spend $325.00 on a pair of leather sneakers. Are they beautiful? yes. Are they fashionable? yes. Are they worth that much money? ehhh debatable.

I've been eyeing this shoes for a while now. The white sneakers trend is coming on full force and I think it started with the Adidas Superstar sneaks trend. Celebrities like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid have been spotted in shoes like these strutting through the busy New York streets and still look killer. They have the ability to make your outfit look sporty chic (and not to mention that they are 100000 more comfortable than heels) and he leather/pleather sneaker is so much easier to clean off than your average Converse white sneakers.

While sometimes I am a firm believer in investing in the real deal because they'll last longer and I'll get more out of them, at this time in my life (this broke college student time) I can't get myself to spend that much on sneakers. So when I saw this dupe at H&M I couldn't not get them. I actually think I might have heard angels singing.

You don't always have to break the bank to stay on trend ;)

Last semester for my COM 114 class we had to do an informational speech. What did I do mine on? Yes you guessed right. Fashion. My 6 and a half minute long speech was on how trends get determined (I'm sure you're wondering why I'm talking about school on of my few outlets from school but I promise there's logic behind this). Through my research for this speech I found out that Pantone named Marsala the 2015 color of the year and it so happens to be the color of the shirt that I'm wearing (see? that's why i brought up that class). Basically, moral of the story is that I'm obsessed with this color and you should be too. Its so cute so fall.

Happy Tuesday Beautiful People!!

I really don't know where to start other than saying that I'm obsessed (which I feel like I say for everything but this time I really am). Suede is so in this season and i am 1000% pro suede so when I saw this romper (the same day I found the black lace up dress -- i told you Carter is a good luck charm) I was completely sold. BUT I do have a tiny problem with it, however, this problem isn't necisarrily directed to Charlotte Russe or this particular romper, but rather the creator of rompers. I wish I could go back and time and ask him or her WHY ROMPERS SO DIFFICULT TO USE THE RESTROOM IN. I don't know maybe a zipper or something?

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE rompers they're the perfect dress and shorts/pants combo! You can wear them when its super windy outside and not have to worry about flashing the whole world (usually) and you also have the comfortability of a dress. I just wish that they weren't such a pain when you need to go to the ladies room. #justgirlthings

Okay, so my new favorite fall trend is lace up trend in dresses and shirts. I had been eyeing the Nasty Gal version of this dress and was soooo disappointed when I went to buy it online and it was sold out. One of the problems I have with this trend is that a lot of the shirts or dresses are extremely revealing, but this dress was the best of both worlds -- classy but trendy--and i wouldn't have it any other way so when it was out of stock I was devastated. One day I was aimlessly shopping around in Tippecanoe Mall when I found this AMAZING dupe at Charlotte Russe.

Lets rewind. I'm at Tippecanoe mall (arguably one of the worst malls in the world) with my boyfriend when I go into Charlotte Russe and make probably 5 laps around the store before I see this beauty and a suede romper (look coming soon ;))Words cannot express how extremely accomplished I felt after I purchased this dress and I'm obsessed with it. I was so excited that I didn't even try the dress on but have no fear, it fits perfectly.

Side Note: I think Carter is my shopping good luck charm because I always find the best stuff when I'm with him. Sorry for this weird change in font sizes, i don't know whats up but I'll try to change it for next time. :)

Okay so I'm obsessed with this top. Every time i think "denim top" a button down chambray instantly comes to mind. BUT I have to be honest guys, unfortunately, I can't take credit for spotting this beauty--my amazing boyfriend spotted it on the sale rack when we were in Chicago a couple of weekends ago and I fell in love. Sometimes the best finds come from the sale rack ;)
